Sacramento Choral Society The Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra was established in 1996. A full professional 55 member orchestra: stings, brass, wind, percussion plus 170 volunteer auditioned singers. The Sacramento Choral Society & Orchestra & The American Federation of Musicians - A Unique Partnership. The SCSO is unique nationally in that it is the only Community Chorus among the 12,000 Community Choruses in the U.S. to have a collective bargaining agreement with its own professional symphony orchestra.. Saturday, November 7: Malcolm Archer Requiem and works by Vaughn Williams, Sir Hubert Parry and Stanford. Organist: Stephen Janzen Event will take place at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament 1017 11th Street Sacramento. Performance Begins at 8:00 pm Tickets $25 - Student Discount:50%. Saturday December 12: The Spirit of the Christmas Season Candlelit processions, audience singalongs, new and familiar holiday songs and good cheer. Events will take place at Mondavi Center of the Arts Performances @ 2PM and 8PM. Tickets are $30.00 - $50.00 Student Discount:50%. Sunday, March 28: Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem Event will take place at Mondavi Center of the Arts Performance begins @ 7:00pm Tickets are $30.00 - $50.00 Student Discount:50%.
